Once a regional plan is in place, it is important to measure and monitor progress against previously established goals. In order to track performance periodically and ensure a standardized set of performance metrics, we have developed a standardized format that can be used by regions. This profile accesses existing datasets (e.g., Monitor’s Cluster Mapping Dataset), but also gathers additional metrics via additional research and surveys of senior business executives. This data is all integrated in one comprehensive document, with an executive summary that provides all critical data on one page for easy tracked, as well as a more comprehensive set of metrics for tracking progress for the overall regional economy, and for each of the targeted clusters.
